I decided to go back to Hooters and talk with a manger in person. He told me they are still interested but that things had been hectic especially with GM Ella being sick. He asked me to call back Tuesday which I did. He informed me he had lost my application and to come in when I could to fill another one out. So, I immediately got myself camera ready and headed to Hooters. I met a few different girls this time, all were really nice. One girl told me my chances were good since I’ve been interviewed already by two mangers, I certainly hope so. I was beginning to feel very pessimistic about things. Manger R took my application assuring me he would talk with GM Ella tomorrow when she comes in. At this point I’m just waiting. If I don’t get a call that’s cool, I’ll be back in 30 days repeating the process. Yes, I am that determined.

Help!!!!!
If there is anyone actually reading this I could use some advice. How long should I wait until I contact them? Should I call or pop up one day? I don’t want to be pushy but I don’t want them to forget me either. Wed. was the last day I spoke with a manager. I might just be freaking out for no reason. Advice would be awesome!

A Cancelation
I was pumped and ready to go when Manager R called me. GM Ella is sick and in the hospital thus my interview had to be canceled. I hope she gets better soon. I am bummed though. I’m ready to start my job as a Hooter’s Girl, assuming I get hired of course. I’m worried they may forget about me if she’s out too long. I’m sure girls apply daily. With any luck, I’ll stand out in Manager R’s memory!

The Interview
I walked into Hooters sporting a cute blouse, dark jeans and heels (Not very high ones, I’m 5’8”.), head held high. There was a cute petite girl hula hooping, she was extremely friendly and went to get the manager for me. I was incredibly nervous. I think I did a great job hiding it though. K was the first manager I spoke with. He asked the usual questions, nothing major. He walked me around showing me pictures of the girls on the wall. I spoke with Hula Hooping girl for a bit while K went to get the other manager. I felt like a giant, all the girls around me were no taller than 5’5”. My interview with the next manager, R, went amazingly well. The conversation flowed easy and I could tell he liked me. I have a second interview with the GM Wed. at 4 p.m. The GM at this store is a female and from what Hula said very intimidating. I’m excited, nervous and eighteen million other things. Being this close to something I’ve wanted so long is….almost scary I suppose. I’m going to give it my best. Job or no job, I’m going to rock that interview.

It's Time
My Hooter’s journey has begun. I have an interview at 4 p.m. tomorrow. I’m freaking excited. I don’t want to get my hopes up too high though, I might not get the job. In fact I may have gotten the interview because a few regulars were harassing the managers about hiring me. I’m cool with that though. I’m nervous. I’m wider than the girls that work there. My stomach is flat but I have hips like ‘whoa’. Wish me luck. I want this so bad it’s retarded. At some point I will post a little more about myself, give everyone some back story.
